The Shine A Light print takes its lantern image from one hanging on the walls of Folsom Prison. We liked the nod to Cash’s work shining a little light inside with his prison shows. The Folsom50 project used letterpress images and type when possible, so it felt appropriate to make a limited-edition print as a container for the digital downloads of an excerpt of the concert. The music was recorded at Lewis & Clark College November 17 and features Luther’s Boots. The concert received generous support from Regional Arts & Culture Council. Great thanks to Eric Iverson of Rose City Sound who provided sound equipment and recorded the show.
